Casey Van Damme

After finishing college at Portland State University, Casey relocated to Seattle to continue working in Radio Broadcasting. His first position in Seattle was at 98.9 KWJZ where he started as the Promotions and Marketing Director, later followed by a move into the Sales Department as an Account Executive. After radio, he decided to focus on his passion which was Web Design and Internet Marketing.

Learning website design helped him develop those skills and apply that to more Internet Marketing. He was able roll up all those skills when he was hired as Web Marketer for the Entercom Radio Group in Seattle. The role included being the web master for seven radio stations, managing a growing digital department and being responsible for all additional audio and video content published to the web. It also involved creating on-air and on-line promotional campaigns for clients and assuring campaign performance.

From there he took a step deeper into Digital Marketing with a a great opportunity to manage the SEM and SEO for X10 Wireless Technology. There he over saw everything from web page development, copy writing, marketing collateral and the affiliate program. X10 had been around since the last 70’s and unfortunately the company could not continue in its current confirguration and was shuttered.

Luckily, he was approached to work at an up and coming start-up called Mercent, where he have learned all about feed-based ecommerce, online retail and working with large retail organizations across shopping engines and marketplaces. After helping build Mercent for over seven years, the company was acquired by CommerceHub. With CommerceHub, he took on the role of building and developing a team of leading digital marketing professionals. As CommerceHub moved away from Marketing Services in late 2016, Casey was off to his next role. In January of 2017, he was approached by Marc Jospeh, the CEO of DollarDays.com, to build out a new Marketplace and Drop Ship department. Now under the their new CEO, Casey has taken on the role of Director of Ecommerce driving all marketing initiatives for the company.
